Her enthusiasm and instant spark of ideas 2 weeks prior to our actual shoot was making me so excited I could hardly stand it. She let us use a beautiful bouquet of flowers to go with our photos that really brought together the early summer essence. With that prop, we also had a live prop: our new 9 week old puppy! Meredith is professional but comfortable at the same time. She was a friend as well as a photographer during the shoot, and she made us feel right at home. So I'm a Facebook stalker, and I used to (and still do) stalk Meredith Graves Photography. I was always in awe of her ability to capture such intimate moments between couples and families. After reaching out to me and some convincing of my boyfriend, I scheduled a Dog Family Photo Session. Little did I know, my boyfriend had contacted Meredith and turned this photo opportunity into a proposal. 

Now I could go into 1,000 examples of how Meredith made this moment perfect for us - like the build up to the moment without ruining the surprise or knowing exactly how to pose us to keep me from being suspicious as he got down on one knee behind me - but that wouldn't even begin to touch on how she went above and beyond to pull off this proposal with Luke. Even more so, she found a way to capture our raw emotions the moments before, during, and after our proposal. Those moments are often lost after the blur of calling family and friends to share the excitement, but because of Meredith, we have those movements forever. 

Meredith captures candid yet real moments between people, which makes her an incredibly gifted photographer. She  cares deeply about her clients, and eagerly works to make sure they're satisfied in every way possible. If you're in need of a photographer, I HIGHLY recommend Meredith Graves. - Emily

Meredith is an amazing photographer. But her work alone isn't what makes her stand out. She is great with kids and so incredibly patient. She has a vision for each shot that is so evident when you see the finished product. Meredith and her team were able to squeeze us into one of her mini sessions after our original photographer fell ill, that same day. She was AMAZING! So kind, so funny, gave really great direction, encouraged us to incorporate anything we wanted into our photos, and even gave us some sneak peaks throughout the shoot. Meredith is absolutely remarkable, as a photographer and as a person. My family and I have gotten to spend time with her at an indoor mini shoot and a full session outdoors. Meredith was like our best friend as well as a photographer during our mini photo shoot! We knew of Meredith from William Jewell College and from all of us being collegiate athletes. She always had an amazing personality around campus & during the shoot she made us feel so comfortable. Making the shoot easy for us & our two dogs!
I think what makes her stand out from other photographers are her prices & photos. Her prices are very reasonable (she does it because she loves to take pictures) & her photos are so unique—different angles, posses, she really captures the moments & faces in each picture.

I went to high school with Meredith (and Trev), and while we did know each other and I was constantly stalking her photography pages, never did I think that our 2 hour engagement/elopement photo session with her (and Trev) would create friendships that I honestly feel will last a lifetime. The whole thing just felt like a wonderful double date. I couldn’t imagine spending a more intimate moment with my hubbs and these two wonderful human beings. We made so many memories. She told our story, in the best way.

Mer helped me pick out our outfits, gave me the best advice and was literally there every step of the way. She left the location up to us, because she lives in my hometown, which is 3 hours away, but I honestly feel like Meredith could make any location beautiful.

We are over the moon with the work of Meredith Graves Photography LLC !! She captured our goofy and fun true love for one another.
